Indel Marine - New strategic alliance between Indel B and Webasto

Webasto take over Thermoprodukter’s 50 per cent shares of Indel Marine and become the new partner to Indel B in this joint venture.

Indel Marine was created year 2000, between Italian Indel “B” and Swedish Thermoprodukter, to supply the marine market with first class products in field of regeration and water heaters etc. aboard. Under well known brand name Isotherm by Indel Marine the products are now represented all over the world. Indel Marine is focused as specialist in all kind of marine refrigerators and water heaters for smallest to biggest boats, for single custom made design to biggest contract deliveries.
Indel Marine is located and has its production in own facilities in small village S. Agata Feltria 120 km south Bologna. The daughter company Indel Marine USA, is located in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.

Indel Marine is located in the small Italian town of S. Agata Feltria. Situated very close to the Indel "B" complex. The customers’ needs and demands dictates the mission set for the company. The company supplies marine refrigeration equipment ranging everything from a specially designed deep freezer unit for a round-the-world cruising yacht to the high volume production of standard boat refrigerators. The company is proud to deliver products to some of the worlds foremost boat builders.

Indel "B" have manufactured marine refigerators since the 1960's and with its very first model the company established the marine industry standard which has been used by boat builders and competitors ever since. Today the company is a leading manufacturer of DC powered refrigeration equipment and has a production capacity of over 500 units daily. The production facility in S. Agata Feltria has been expanded recently with the addition of 10,000 m², It is one of the most modern and plants of its type and incorporates the very latest technology including state of the art enviromentally friendly moulding and foaming machines. Apart from the marine market, the principal business areas for Indel "B" include the sale of minibars to the hotel industry. The company also manufactures refrigeration boxes for the truck and transport industry and special refrigeration units as supplied for example to the NASA space shuttle.
Indel "B" is a subsidiary of Gruppo Berloni which is owned and operated by the Berloni family from head offices in Pesaro. Gruppo Berloni employs over 800 staff. A sister company in the group is Condor "B" which is situated alongside with Indel Marine. Condor "B" manufactures components including evaporators and condensors for all types of refrigeration equipment.

Webasto delivers complete and integrated solutions to enhance marine comfort on board of different kinds of medium to large vessels. The traditional automotive supplier with more than 100 years of experience develops and produces heating, cooling, ventilation as well as roof systems for motorboats and sailing yachts.
